Vacation Rental Terms & Conditions
Property is normally offered for rent by the week with changeover day being Saturday.
Property is rented to the first party to confirm a reservation. Reservations are confirmed once completed booking forms have been received and the deposit due with reservation has been paid.
We account in euros and the weekly rental cost is as quoted in the letter or e-mail sent out in response to inquiries for the size of party you have advised.
In the event that payment is made in a client’s home currency, the cost in that currency will be that pertaining to the published exchange rate current at the time that each payment falls due.
Unless advised otherwise beforehand, weekly rental rates include, an ample supply of all linens, kitchen and dining equipment, all utilities (gas, electricity, water).The only extra would be the potential use of the central heating (6euros/m3 gas)/fire wood (18euros/hundred kilograms)/pellet (6€/15Kgs).
Our rental rates are all inclusive and there are no hidden additional charges.
In the event that the number of individuals using the property exceeds those listed in the reservation form, a supplemental charge will be payable.
Clients are advised to notify us of any proposed changes in party as soon as possible after a reservation has been confirmed. We will then advise whether such changes are permissible and if so, we will confirm the supplement payable.
In order to prevent overcrowding and comply with legal requirements, we regret that we may have to refuse admittance to individuals of an arriving party whose names are not mentioned on the reservation.
Payment may be made to other financial institutions and in currencies other that the Euro by prior arrangement.
Clients should instruct their bank that all bank charges are to be pre-paid without deduction from the net payment due.
We do recommend that clients take out travel insurance to protect against financial losses in the event that vacations have to be cancelled for any reason.
In cases of client cancellation due to illness, we endeavor to assist clients by offering alternative vacation periods where availability still exists. Where a client cancels after a reservation is confirmed, we accept no liability and provide no guarantee to make refunds. However, we do endeavor to make refunds if we are able to secure alternative reservations during any part of the period of cancellation. The extent of any refund will be calculated taking into account the alternative rental revenue secured and the various costs we incur.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide a property in accordance with the reservation taken, we undertake to inform the affected client, as soon as is practical after the causative event becomes known to us. In such circumstances, we will undertake to refund the rental payment made. We accept no liability for any other costs or liabilities (such as pre-paid travel fares) that clients may have incurred.
